Loan Pipeline

Loan Pipeline

The Loan Pipeline is a vital feature in the AUS Sandbox. This section displays a list of loans that are either in the 'prospect' or 'active' folder. This is where users can initiate the process of running the Desktop Underwriter (DU) or Loan Process Advisor (LPA) for a particular loan. A loan must be in either of these folders to be eligible for running the AUS. Users can also view various details about the loans and perform actions like 'first run', 'run', and 'view' directly from this pipeline. It serves as a central hub for managing and tracking the status of all the loans within the system.

Loan Lock status

The Loan Lock Status is a feature that indicates whether a loan is currently locked or available for changes. When a loan is locked, modifications cannot be made and a lock icon will be displayed in the pipeline view. If the lock status changes while viewing the pipeline, users will need to refresh the page to see the updated lock status. When a loan is locked, attempting to "run" will redirect users to the previous submission tab. If a loan is locked by the admin, a popup message will appear to notify the user of this status.

  • A lock icon will appear in the pipeline view when a loan is locked.
  • Users need to refresh the page to see the updated lock status if it changes while they are viewing the pipeline.
  • When a loan is locked, selecting "run" will navigate users to the previous submission tab.
  • When an admin locks a loan, a popup message will be displayed.

Search

The AUS Sandbox provides a robust search feature that allows users to search for specific loans using key parameters. These parameters include the Loan number, Purpose, and Borrower name.

  • Loan number: Using the specific loan number, users can quickly locate a particular loan. This is particularly useful in large databases where manual searching would be inefficient.
  • Purpose: Searching by purpose helps filter loans based on their intended use. For example, users can search for all loans intended for home purchases, refinancing, or home improvements.
  • Borrower name: This allows users to find all loans associated with a specific borrower. This is helpful when reviewing a borrower's loan history or when working with a returning borrower.

These search features enhance the user's ability to manage and navigate through the loans in the AUS Sandbox effectively.

Filter by milestone

  • The "Filter by Milestone" feature in the AUS Sandbox allows users to sift through loans based on their current stage in the lending process. Milestones can include stages like 'File Started', 'Sent to Setup', 'Sent to Processing', 'Ready for Underwriting', 'Approval', and others. By selecting a particular milestone from the filter, the system will display only the loans that are currently at that stage, streamlining the user's view and making it easier to manage loans at similar stages of the process. After applying a filter, if the user wishes to view all loans again, they can use the "Reset Filter" function which removes the selected filter and refreshes the loan pipeline.
  • The "reset filter" function is a feature in the AUS Sandbox system. If a user has applied a filter to sort or narrow down the loans displayed in the pipeline (for example, by a specific milestone), the "reset filter" function can be used to remove this filter. This means that the system will stop applying the filter criteria and all loans will once again be displayed in the pipeline. The pipeline is "refreshed" to its original state, showing all loans without any filters applied. This function is useful when the user has finished their specific task and wants to go back to the full view of all loans.
