- The "First Run" is an important feature that initiates the automated underwriting system (AUS) for a specific loan in the AUS Sandbox. Users can initiate this by clicking on the "First Run" button. However, this button is only visible and enabled under certain conditions:
- "In encompass AUS tracking, there should not be any entry": This condition ensures that the AUS hasn't been run for the selected loan before. The "First Run" is intended for the first time initiation of the AUS for a loan, hence, the system checks the AUS tracking to confirm that there is no previous AUS entry for the loan.
- "Loan Folder should be Prospect or active": For a loan to be eligible for AUS running, it should be in the 'Prospect' or 'Active' folder. The system checks the status of the loan and the "First Run" button is enabled only if the loan is in one of these folders.
- "Subject property Address should be TBD or Empty": Before the AUS is run, the subject property's address should either be 'To Be Determined' (TBD) or not filled in yet. This is because the location and details of the property can significantly influence the underwriting process, and these details might not be available at the initial stages of the loan process.
When all these conditions are met, the "First Run" button becomes active, allowing users to initiate the AUS for the loan.
