Run LPA

When the Loan Product Advisor (LPA) successfully completes its initial run for a loan in the AUS Sandbox:

  • The AUS tracking system will be updated to include an entry for the LPA. This means that the system records that the LPA has been run for the specified loan. This tracking helps keep a log of the automated underwriting systems (AUS) that have been used for each loan.
  • The LPA findings are uploaded to the Efolder. The Efolder is a digital repository where all the documents related to a loan are stored. The LPA findings, which are the results and recommendations from running the LPA, are saved here for future reference and for sharing these details with relevant stakeholders.
  • The Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) recommendation will be updated. The HMDA requires many lenders to report information about the home loans for which they receive applications. The recommendation from the LPA run might influence the HMDA reporting, so it is updated accordingly after the LPA run.
